Is affiliate marketing saturated?

by Richard Woolmer

Affiliate marketing has developed rapidly since its commencement. A few years ago it was the best new thing. It was very easy to get on to the top of search engine results with few techniques and we can also say that it was effortless to get on the first page for Google AdWords. When Google changed its algorithm for AdWords and for the search engine result pages, most of us lost a lot. To achieve back the first page status on Google, thousands of affiliates started working from the scratch. The point to be noted here is that it was easy to attract visitors to your site, and thereby advertising your products to significant number of buyers. But, it is not the same now-a-days. But does this mean affiliate marketing is dying? Certainly not!

However, it is evident that it is a tougher game these days. One thing we need to recognize is that the internet is growing rapidly and more and more people are getting connected to it day by day opening enormous opportunities for online market place for different products and services. The opportunities are open to everybody and if you want to make your mark, you have to work hard to get people to click on your links and buy your products or services.

Due to this vast expansion of online market place, the potential buyers became bright and smart about online buying. Now, they research before buying and hunt for better products for cheaper rates. To reach to these potential buyers first with the cheaper and better product is a matter of hard work and thorough research. Answer their questions before they ask you and relieve them from their research and hard work. Then it is more possible that they pay attention to your site. That is why "reviews" for your product is very important. The pages with review-style landing attract more traffic. The buyers want to hear their voice. It tells the pros and cons about all of them, ranks them by distinctiveness and gives them an overall rating. The reviews help to hold the visitor at this page and prompt them to act.

By going through all this, we can say that affiliate marketing is not over saturated and it is certainly not dead at all. The potential online buyers are rapidly growing day by day. We just have to be better than the rest to mark our existence. We have to work hard continuously and a bit more professional when marketing. If we can keep our honest and hard work alive, affiliate marketing will never be called dead!
